Location: Logan City, Queensland and Surrounding Regions

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Disability and Mental Health Support Workers in Logan City, Queensland and surrounding regions.

Role Overview:

As a Disability and Mental Health Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities and mental health conditions. Your role will involve assisting clients with daily living activities, providing emotional support, facilitating community engagement, and promoting independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering person-centered support tailored to the individual needs and preferences of clients.

Assisting clients with personal care tasks, medication management, and household activities.

Providing emotional support, active listening, and encouragement to promote mental wellbeing.

Facilitating social and recreational activities to enhance community participation and social inclusion.

Collaborating with healthcare professionals, families, and support networks to ensure holistic care and support.

Requirements:

Previous experience in disability support or mental health care is preferred.

Certificate III or higher qualification in Disability Support, Mental Health, or a related field is desirable.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity in all interactions.
