Aijo Jacob has about 19 years of work experience in a variety of sectors such as Disability, Aged Care, Community Development, Employment Services, Community Services, Quality Management, and Work Health and Safety across diverse cultures and geographical locations.
After completing his master’s in social work in 2005, he spent 10 years in different hospitals, government and non-government organisations including MNCs doing various roles such as psychiatric social worker, Monitoring and Evaluation of welfare projects and Quality Management. Since 2015, Aijo focused his career on Quality Management and Disability Services. As a Disability Service Practitioner, he began his first steps as a Disability Support Worker and moved on to manage Respite Services for Complex Needs and Specialist Disability Accommodations across various organisations. After working as a Service / Regional Manager for St. John of God Accord in Victoria, he moved to QLD as a Regional Manager and soon became a State Manager for one of the prominent NDIS providers in QLD. In early 2003, he joined SIV as one of the first Managing Partners with an additional role as Quality Advisor. Currently, Aijo has taken up the role of General Manager of Business Services at SIRV.
