Aynsley Johnson is a Human Services Executive with over 20 years of experience across the aged care sector, bringing a deep commitment to the people at the heart of every service, and a leadership style that's anything but ordinary. As Sirv's new General Manager of Home Care, she joins at an exciting and pivotal time, helping to shape and grow the organisation's home care offering with purpose and heart.
With extensive experience across CHSP, Support at Home, and in-home care operations, Aynsley understands both the complexity of the sector and what it takes to deliver genuinely enriching experiences for the people being supported. Her focus on reform readiness, financial sustainability, and quality governance is matched equally by a belief that the best outcomes happen when teams feel connected, supported, and empowered to do their best work.
Collaboration, adaptability, and curiosity sit at the core of how Aynsley leads. She's passionate about leadership development at every level, whether that's nurturing emerging talent, stretching experienced leaders to their next chapter, or building the kind of team culture where great ideas surface from everywhere. Because great care starts with great teams, and great teams don't build themselves. She'll also be the first to remind you that aged care doesn't always have to be so serious. Thoughtful leadership and a well-timed sense of humour are, in her experience, entirely compatible.
Originally from Queensland, when Aynsley isn't reimagining home care delivery, you'll likely find her camping with family and friends, chasing waterfalls (the beach is firmly off the list - red hair and freckles have seen to that), trying new foods, or planning the next international adventure. She's jumped out of planes, floated over landscapes in a hot air balloon, and somewhere in between finds time to play the piano or be around music of any kind. She describes her main hobby as simply having hobbies - a curiosity and enthusiasm for life that translates directly into how she leads.
