Gitu Bhatia is a skilled finance and administration professional with a strong foundation in the Disability support sector (NDIS). Originally from India and now based in Brisbane, Gitu brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to her work, shaped by a diverse career spanning training, finance, and operational support.

From 2019 to 2021, Gitu worked as a Trainer and Assessor, delivering the Diploma of Leadership and Management. This experience gave her a solid grasp of leadership principles and the ability to guide others in achieving their professional goals. Since 2021, she has transitioned into finance and administration roles within the NDIS space, where she has built a reputation for her deep understanding of claims, billing, budgeting, and NDIS compliance processes.

Gitu holds a Master of Business in Applied Finance from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane and a Master of Science in International Business from Buckinghamshire New University in the UK. Her academic background underpins her strategic thinking and financial expertise, which she applies daily to support the efficient delivery of disability services. Her qualifications complement her hands-on experience and give her a well-rounded perspective on operational and financial performance in both for-profit and non-profit settings.

In addition to her professional strengths, Gitu is known for her warmth, reliability, and genuine passion for helping others. She also volunteers her time with a non-profit organisation supporting people with disabilities—a reflection of her commitment to community impact beyond the workplace.

Outside of work, Gitu is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves cooking dishes from around the world, enjoys shopping (“the reason I’m working,” she jokes), and is always up for a good board game with friends or family.
