We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Tuggerah, New South Wales. This part-time, permanent role is essential in providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals in need, helping them to improve their daily living skills and overall quality of life. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and abilities.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to support client need.
- Provide guidance and support to clients and their families regarding therapy processes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in social care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to work with both paediatric and adult participants imperative.
