We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Tuggerah, New South Wales. This part-time, permanent role is essential in providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals in need, helping them to improve their daily living skills and overall quality of life. As a key member of our social care team, you will play a vital role in supporting clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their independence.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and abilities.
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to support client need.
• Provide guidance and support to clients and their families regarding therapy processes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
• Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in social care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Empathy and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Ability to work with both paediatric and adult participants imperative.
