Expression of Interest – Support Worker (Casual)

Bunbury Region | SIL, MTA & Respite Services

SIRV is expanding into the Bunbury region, and we are inviting experienced, proactive Support Workers to register their interest in joining our team as part of this exciting new chapter.

This is an Expression of Interest (EOI) for upcoming casual roles as services commence locally. We are particularly keen to hear from support workers who live in or near Bunbury and want to be involved in building strong, person-centred supports in their own community.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide trauma-informed, recovery-focused support to participants with psychosocial disability, mental health needs and complex behaviours across SIL, MTA and Respite settings.

You will support participants to work towards their individual goals, increase independence, and actively engage in their community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver trauma-informed and person-centred supports
  • Support participants with:
  • Psychosocial disability
  • Mental health needs
  • Complex behaviours
  • Implement and follow Behaviour Support Plans
  • Support participants to achieve their NDIS goals
  • Promote community integration and inclusion, including:
  • Identifying meaningful local activities
  • Supporting social connection and independence
  • Complete accurate documentation, progress notes and incident reporting
  • Work collaboratively as part of a new and growing regional team

  • Proactive and reliable
  • Confident working with complex needs
  • Passionate about community inclusion
  • Interested in being part of a service expansion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
  • Strong communication and professional boundaries

Essential Requirements

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Completion of NDIS Orientation Modules
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Reliable car with comprehensive insurance
  • Minimum 1 year experience in disability and/or mental health support
  • Availability for shifts (including active shifts; on-call availability desirable)
