📣Disability Service Coordinator- Temporary 6 Month Maternity Leave Position

Summary:

SIRV is a NDIS registered Disability Support Company operating Australia Wide. This Role is advertised for SIRV- Team Lewis which operates in the Newcastle, Hunter Valley and New England Regions within NSW.

As a Service Coordinator for SIRV- Team Lewis, you will be part of the management team assisting with managing staff, rostering and liaising with participants and stakeholders.

📍Work From Home in Hunter Valley/Newcastle Region, New South Wales

💰 $37 Per Hour

⏰ Monday- Friday - 6 hours per day

(Some on call required : approx 1 weekend a month)

Role Responsibilities (not limited to):

- Roster Development.

- Be first line of contact for staff during working hours for support or rostering queries.

- Manage and develop Support Plans for participants.

- Hold Support and Supervision meetings for Support Workers.

- Attend meetings in person in regard to staff training, participants or stakeholder meetings, etc.

- Complete required documentation.

- Participant and Stakeholder Engagement.

Role Requirements:

- Demonstrate an ability to manage staff in a professional and supportive way.

- Previous management/coordination experience desired but not essential.

- Have an understanding of NDIS compliance for both staff and participants, ensuring compliance is maintained across the business.

- Have a good understanding of how to manage incidents which occur in the disability space.

- Own a car and be able to drive up to 1hour for work when required.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Current First Aid, CPR certifications and

NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain).
