Cleveland-based | Work also available across South & West Brisbane

Casual Role | Flexible Hours

We’re on the lookout for experienced, passionate, and adaptable Disability & Mental Health Support Workers to join our casual team, supporting individuals across Cleveland, Logan, Ipswich, Redlands, Scenic Rim and the Brisbane CBD.

About the Role

As a member of our support team, you’ll work closely with people living with disability and/or mental health conditions, delivering person-centred care that supports their independence, safety and quality of life.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
  • Supporting clients with mobility needs, including the safe use of hoists
  • Providing positive behaviour support and strategies for managing complex behaviours
  • Promoting community access, independence and meaningful engagement
  • Accurately documenting progress notes and responding to risk or escalation as needed

We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:

  • Experienced – confident in personal care, manual handling and behaviour support
  • Flexible & reliable – available for additional shifts, including short-notice work
  • Resilient & autonomous – able to manage challenges calmly and work independently
  • Empathetic & professional – able to build strong rapport and uphold client dignity
  • Willing to travel across a wide area when needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months’ experience in disability or mental health support
  • Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Blue Card (Working with Children)
  • Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
  • Manual handling and hoist experience essential
  • Behaviour support or mental health experience highly desirable
  • Available to work across standard days, evenings, sleepovers and weekends.

Currently seeking individuals who have availability to work across days and nights, preferably with the capacity to work Sunday Day, Monday and Thursday night.
