What You’ll Need

Essential Requirements

  • Qualification in Aged Care, Disability Support, Individual Support, Nursing, or equivalent
  • Manual Handling training and experience, including hoist transfers
  • Competency in medication management and administration
  • Experience supporting safe mealtime management
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle and experience in driving a mini van (example: Toyota HiAce)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Availability across a 24/7 rotating roster.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disability
  • Experience supporting participants with epilepsy
  • Experience supporting people with complex or high-support needs
