Hi! I’m Karina. Growing up in a home with multiple members having different needs due to illness or disability, has led me to a career in the disability sector for close to a decade. I am a strong advocate, and believe in supporting people where they need support and encouraging people with a disability and the wider community to recognise their strengths. I have a thorough knowledge of the NDIS and am committed to ensuring you are cared for with respect and dignity, but also understand that each person is unique and their overall needs will be as well.
Our service is able to cater to people with high intensity and complex health needs. With experience in brain injuries, spinal injuries, high level autism, learning disabilities, global developmental delay, epilepsy, feeding issues, mobility issues, behaviours of concern, mental health and dementia, the list goes on. We pride ourselves on ensuring our staff are appropriately experienced and trained to provide the right care for you, as well as growing our skills with you as your needs may change over the years.
I am passionate about providing a service that recognises and celebrates you for who you are as a whole, and understands your level of ability is not a box for you to be put in. Finding the right fit is important and we ensure that the care you get is culturally sensitive, trauma informed, and goes further then just meeting the standard.
Our team can support you in a variety of areas including SIL services, social and community access, personal care, specialised care, 24/7 in home care, domestic assistance, medication management, groceries and meal planning, mental health and respite supports, as well as understanding the ever changing landscape of the NDIS.
